I want to show my students, no matter how much you improve you never stop growing. When I look at the past 8 years of my partnership with Dax, one thing has never changed, and that is our core focus: the pursuit of better dancing. Our priorities switch as we research and explore ways to improve. I don’t see this as changing. I see this as growth and expansion. With every new focus, we dive deeper, thus adding more layers of awareness and information to our ideas. We are not different than we were 8 years ago. We are more than we were 8 years ago.

我想告诉学生们的是：无论你提高的多与少，你始终都在成长。当我回首和Dax一起度过的8年搭档生活，有一件事情是从来没有变过的，就是我们关注的核心：追求更好的舞蹈。我们研究或是探索不同的提高方法过程中，所关注的点的优先权会交替更换，但我不认为这是绝对的变化，而是把它视为成长和拓展。每一次我们有了一个新的关注点，就会在在这一点上进行挖掘，从而在我们的想法上形成了更多的认知层次。我们不是和8年前不一样了，我们只是比8年前更“丰满”了。
